Brian Moritz
Non-executive Chairman
Brian is a chartered accountant and former senior partner of the London office of Grant Thornton, one of the leading international accounting firms. He is on the board of directors of a number of junior mining and exploration companies, the majority of which operate in Africa. He also specialises in advising companies, mainly in the area of flotation.
In his former role at Grant Thornton, he was registered by the LSE as a nominated adviser and a qualified executive for companies seeking admission to the AIM Market and as a Listed Company sponsor.
Geoffrey Hoodless
Non-executive director
Geoffrey has spent 36 years in the securities industry. He has extensive experience in financial services, which spans across stockbroking, private equity, analyst, institutional sales and corporate finance. His career in stockbroking started at Mullens & Co – the Government Broker, followed by Touche Remnant & Co, W.N. Middleton & Co, Carr Sebag & Co, Quilter Goodison & Co, W. Greenwell & Co, and Scott Goff Layton.
He is one of the founders of Hoodless Brennan Plc, and currently heads the Research and Analysts Department. Geoffrey graduated in business studies and is a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute. He is 58, married with two children and lives in Surrey.
Jonathan Morley-Kirk
Non-executive director
Jonathan’s career has been largely in Emerging Markets having held director positions with Midland Bank, Kidder Peabody, SG Warburg’s and Brown Shipley. Currently an active board member of five investment funds, he manages in excess of US$1.75 billion. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a Member of the Securities Institute, and a Member of the Expert Witness Institute.
